Booking Your Hunt – Step-by-Step Process

1. Choose Your Hunt

Review our hunting packages at the ranch in New Mexico, including:

  • Elk Hunts (Archery, Muzzleloader, and Rifle)
  • Mule Deer Hunts

2. Call to Check Availability

Our guided hunts are limited and fill up quickly. Call us at (505) 357-3082 to confirm available dates and discuss any special requests.

3. Place a Deposit

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your hunt. For big game hunts (elk, mule deer, turkey), the remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival. All other hunts, the remaining balance is due upon arrival.

4. Purchase Your New Mexico Hunting License & Tags

All hunters must obtain a valid New Mexico hunting license and species-specific tags. You can purchase these online at:

5. Receive Your Hunt Confirmation & Preparation Guide

Once your deposit is received, we’ll send you:

  • A confirmation of your hunt dates.
  • A list of what to bring.
  • Directions to the ranch.
  • Additional details about lodging and meals.

6. Arrive at La Joya Valley Ranch in New Mexico & Enjoy Your Hunting!

Big game hunters should arrive at the ranch the day before their hunt, leaving enough light to get settled in, sight in their weapons (if needed), and go over final details with their guide before dinner.

  2. Take Berdardo Exit RT #60 East
